The RCNAS (Royal Canadian Naval Air Service was a very short lived entity which came into being near the end of the war and at war’s end was disbanded hence the little knowledge about it. It is believed there were 3 badges associate with the unit. The one I am sending in the attachment was for enlisted personnel, an officer’s version and a chest wing. I’ve never seen the last two in 40 years of collecting but that is the rumour. I cannot say the badge shown is rare but it is scarce. They are generally found in almost mint condition as to be expected. - Ed Paquette
