This wing belonged to J-15773 F/L George W Percival DFC, who served in North Africa with 109 and 162 Squadrons, RAF (Wellingtons) and later at Croft with 431 Squadron RCAF (Lancasters). His DFC was Gazetted in 1945. This is an interesting theatre made example made in North Africa, in 1941 or 1942. The wing is on blue cloth. This wing is very similar to a wing made in Libya that is shown in "Eagles Recalled" by Warren Carroll. His wing is padded, this one is flat. Otherwise they are almost identical.
